These adorable black, white, and pink-tipped birds cannot fly, but do love eating fish. They are an important species as prey and keep the fish population in check. Unfortunately, their population has been severely declining, due to overfishing, pollution, and plastic. In the past century, the population of African penguins has declined by over 95%, more than 50% since 1970.
